I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Department.
My areas of Work
I started my training contract with Bakerlaw in September 2017 and am currently undertaking a six-month seat in the Dispute Resolution Department.
My previous Experience
Before beginning work at BakerLaw I was a full-time student during which time I gained very valuable work experience at the Legal Advice Centre held by the University of Law- Guildford. This allowed me the opportunity to develop my skill set before I officially entered the work force.
Qualifications and Accreditations
Before joining BakerLaw I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Political Science at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada at which point I decided to move to the United Kingdom to pursue a law degree.
Since moving to the UK I have graduated Oxford Brookes University with an LLB and then went on to attain my qualification on the Legal Practice Court at the University of Law in Guildford.
My interests and Hobbies
In my spare time I enjoy taking my Basset Hound for country walks and socialising with friends. I am always up for visiting new places and taking in the amazing sites the UK has to offer. I am also a keen gym goer and relish in any opportunity to get active.
