I am currently a Trainee Solicitor working within the Employment team.
My areas of work
I am currently undertaking my final training seat in the Employment Department alongside Andrew Peters and Emily Yeardley assisting in range of matters for both employers and employees.
My previous experience
I joined BakerLaw LLP as a Paralegal in September 2015 providing support to the Dispute Resolution and Employment Departments, prior to this I spent some time working in a Personal Injury firm dealing with Road Traffic Accidents involving minors.
In August 2016 I commenced my training contract with BakerLaw and I have completed six month seats in both Dispute Resolution and Private Client where I have been able to progress my skills and knowledge in many areas. During this period I was able to gain much experience through attending client meetings, mediations and working alongside the fee earners in these departments. I am due to finish my training contract and qualify as a solicitor in February 2018.
My hobbies and interests
Outside of work I enjoy socialising and spending time with my family and friends as well as cycling, going to the gym and playing the saxophone.
Qualifications and Accreditations
I previously completed an accelerated 2 year LLB with the University of Law in Chester before moving on to complete the Legal Practice Course and an LLM in Professional Legal Practice with a commendation.
