On behalf of Amanda Glover, Managing Partner, BakerLaw LLP
I am delighted to announce exciting new changes at BakerLaw. With effect from 1st January the management board of BakerLaw LLP changed with myself taking over as Managing Partner and Jonathan Craig complementing the senior management team as an Equity Partner. In addition we have been fortunate to gain the support of Fish Financial, a local wealth management firm, whom many of you know, and Ian Colley has taken his place on the Board initially in a non-executive capacity. Ian brings with him over 20 years of international banking, accounting and financial planning experience, and adds further strength to BakerLaw’s Board.
I am also pleased to announce two in-house promotions, namely Nikki Lynch who heads up the consumer division and Luciana Ispani Head of Property, who both become salaried partners. We are thrilled that they will bring their expertise to the Board.
As part of our plans for the future, BakerLaw is applying to become a multi-disciplinary practice to allow Ian to take an executive role on the Board. Furthermore, later in 2015 we will be working on a financial services joint venture to widen our client services, thus offering both legal and wealth management services in house. We believe that this combined offering can only benefit our clients and provides for an efficient, fully comprehensive advice and support centre of excellence. This strategic alliance is one that we are working hard to secure with the clear aim of adding to the depth and breadth of experience that you have all come to expect from BakerLaw and Fish Financial.
