Careless Driving

Careless Driving

Careless driving is often referred to as driving without due care and attention.  The offence is committed when driving has fallen below the standard of a ‘prudent motorist’

This offence carries 3-9 penalty points or a discretionary disqualification.  It is essential to obtain legal advice regarding the prospects of defending a careless driving allegation.  We will advise on how best to proceed, the likely outcome and any defence that is available to you as well as advising of a plea in mitigation.  We will complete all Court documents and instruct a barrister to attend all Court hearings.  We offer transparency with regard to our fees and will advise whether your case can be dealt with by way of a fixed fee.  Please do not hesitate to contact BakerLaw if you wish to discuss this matter further.
