I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Employment Law Department.
My areas of Work
I started my training contract with Bakerlaw in September 2017 and am currently undertaking my second seat in the Employment Department.
My previous Experience
In the time immediately preceding my university career I began work at a Guildford based firm where I worked as a paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing department. Here, I dealt with a vast array of topics giving me a solid foundation of knowledge and skills which I carried forward into new endeavours.
In September 2017 I began work as a trainee at BakerLaw where I initially worked in the Dispute Resolution Department.
Qualifications and Accreditations
Before joining BakerLaw I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Political Science at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada at which point I decided to move to the United Kingdom to pursue a law degree.
Since moving to the UK I completed my undergraduate Law degree at Oxford Brookes University, before ultimately completing the Legal Practice Course with Masters in Legal Practice at the University of Law, Guildford.
My interests and Hobbies
In my spare time I enjoy taking my Basset Hound for country walks and socialising with friends. I am always up for visiting new places and taking in the amazing sites the UK has to offer. I am also a keen gym goer and relish in any opportunity to get active.
