I am a Solicitor in the Private Client Department.
Areas of Work
I provide advice on a variety of private client matters relating to Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), administration of trusts & estates and Court of Protection applications.
I advise on Wills incorporating trusts, such as life interest trust and discretionary trusts.
I advise and draft LPAs specific to the needs of individuals to ensure that their wishes are accurately reflected.
I am able to advise Executors on all aspects of administration of estates including complex inheritance tax calculations and utilising all exemptions available.
Qualifications and accreditations
I qualified as a Solicitor in February 2018.
I am an Associate member of STEP, the leading worldwide professional body for the most experienced and senior practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues.
I am a Dementia Friend which helps me assist clients and their families through difficult times.
My Previous Experience
Prior to commencing my training contract with BakerLaw in August 2016, I had a particular interest in private client law, having worked in this area as a paralegal and a private client advisor for approximately 4 years. During my training contract I undertook seats in Private client, Family and Dispute Resolution.
