I am a Consultant Solicitor with BakerLaw with nearly 50 years’ experience in undertaking all aspects of property related work, with a speciality in property litigation, and therefore brings a wealth of knowledge to the practice.

My areas of work

I am an experienced property dispute solicitor having acted on a number of different property related issues for a variety of businesses and individuals for nearly 50 years. With my extensive knowledge I try to adopt a practical approach to resolving issues. I advise on opposed and unopposed lease renewals, dilapidations claims, forfeiture clauses, and break notices as well as restrictive covenants, easements, possessory title claims, possession actions, boundary issues and Party Wall etc. Act matters.

I also undertake contested probate actions and claims under the Inheritance (Family Provision) Act 1975.

I am a member of the Property Litigation Association, the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Association and the Pyramus and Thisbe Club.

My previous experience

I trained and worked at a top UK law firm, becoming a Partner in 1982. I retired from that firm in 2016 and joined BakerLaw as a Consultant Solicitor.

My interests and hobbies

My hobbies include gardening and walking with my two dogs. I also enjoy meeting friends and going to the theatre.

What clients say about me?

“Finally we are putting pen to paper to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks for taking on our claim and bringing it to a just conclusion.  The time and effort you gave is very much appreciated.  It is your extensive knowledge of the law together with your expertise in negotiations that brought us this successful outcome.”  [Mr and Mrs G]

“I always felt that I could guide my challenged client to you in the knowledge that they would get a robust and slightly bolshy (meant in the best possible terms) lawyer to act for them and I can safely say that everybody that has turned to you has been full of compliments.”  [Mr H]
