I am a Solicitor within the Family Department. I work with my clients in a sensitive and proactive manner to achieve the best possible outcome for them.
My areas of work
I advise both married and unmarried clients on all matters following relationship breakdown including separation, divorce, and dissolution of civil partnerships. My work includes how to resolve the financial issues arising from the end of a relationship through negotiation, mediation and the issue of court proceedings where appropriate. I routinely deal with complex financial situations and issues surrounding property and pensions.
I advise and assist clients who are forming new relationships to formalise their interests through co-habitation agreements, and pre and post nuptial agreements.
I have wide experience of working with parents and grandparents to resolve issues, for example as with whom the child will live (including relocation within the UK and abroad), the time spent with each parent and specific issues such as to which school a child will attend.
I am experienced in advising both women and men on domestic abuse.
My Previous Experience
I qualified as a Solicitor in Guildford in 2011 having previously enjoyed a career in housing and community care in Surrey and West Sussex. I utilise my previous experience in order to help my clients achieve the best result outcome in their journey.
I have previously worked in Family Departments within Firms in both the Surrey and Kent areas. I returned to work at Baker Law in April 2018 on a permanent basis, having previously worked here as a locum for 6 months in 2015/2016.
