Louise Kilty
I am a Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution Department, working alongside Mark Ridley. I assist with all areas of civil matters, to include preparation of documents for court. My friendly approach helps clients to feel comfortable throughout their proceedings.
My areas of work
I work alongside mark in all mattes covered by civil litigation, which includes meeting clients, drafting documents, preparing for court and providing administrative support. I specialise in debt recovery and this entails preparing the documents for court, applying for Judgment and enforcing debts if necessary.
My Previous experience
I have worked in the legal field for over 15 years, previously working at a number of well-known local firms principally as a Legal Secretary. I joined BakerLaw in 2012 as a Legal Secretary, before becoming a Paralegal in January 2014 due to my knowledge and experience. I worked within the family department for almost 10 years and recently.
My interests and hobbies
I enjoy spending time with my two young children, cooking and walking. I am currently doing my second module for my degree in Criminology & Psychology and also studying with CILEx for my level 3 certificate in Law & Practice (Family Law). I therefore spend a lot of time studying, which keeps my brain busy!
Qualifications and Accreditations
I received a distinction in my first module of criminology towards my Criminology & Psychology degree.
