Louise Kilty

I am a Paralegal in the Family Department, working alongside Nikki Lynch and Wendy Armstrong. I assist in all areas of divorce, finances and children matters, to include preparation of documents for court. My friendly approach helps clients to feel comfortable throughout their proceedings.

My areas of work

I specialise in divorce, acting for both petitioners and respondents, for which we offer a fixed fee, of which I can provide general advice for. I prepare documents for financial and children matters, as well as prepare bundles for court. For various reasons, people may wish to change their name and I draw up change of name deeds for this purpose.

My previous experience

I have worked in the legal field for over 15 years, previously working at a number of well-known local firms principally as a Legal Secretary. I joined BakerLaw in 2012 as a Legal Secretary, before becoming a Paralegal in January 2014 due to my knowledge and experience. I have worked in family law for almost 10 years.

My interests and hobbies

I enjoy spending time with my two young children, cooking and walking. I am currently doing my second module for my degree in Criminology & Psychology and also studying with CILEx for my level 3 certificate in Law & Practice (Family Law). I therefore spend a lot of time studying, which keeps my brain busy!

Qualifications and Accreditations

I received a distinction in my first module of criminology towards my Criminology & Psychology degree.
