Has the Coronavirus (Covid-19) made you stop and think ‘Do I have my affairs in order?’

With more and more cases of Covid-19 being diagnosed every day, the country is preparing to implement social distancing measures. This may bring forward thoughts about your family and friends and making sure that your affairs are in order if the worst was to happen.

Having a valid Will in place is one of the most important steps you can take. A valid Will can allow you to set out your wishes including naming who will look after any minor children, who is going to administer your estate and where it goes and even deciding who gets your favourite teapot!

With many businesses preparing for employees to work from home, this could mean that people who are wanting to get their affairs in order are unable to do so because they cannot arrange an appointment to speak to someone.

That’s why BakerLaw LLP have put processes and provisions in place to enable us to provide a video call appointment remotely. This means that we are able to discuss your needs and take instructions to make sure your affairs are in order.

If you would like to arrange an appointment to discuss creating your first Will or reviewing a current Will, please contact our Private Client department on 01252 730768.
