Charity of the Year

Each year the firm nominates a charity to support and encourages fund raising activities organised by the Social Committee. Our staff are committed to giving their time, skills and energy to helping our chosen charities.

OFLAC

This year the firm's chosen charity is OFLAC (Oak Farm Leisure and Activities Club). OFLAC is a local charity based in Samuel Cody Specialist College in Farnborough, Hampshire that provides a social network and learning hub for adults with a learning disability.

Upcoming Event

The team at BakerLaw is organising a sponsored sky dive to raise funds for OFLAC. The sky dive is planned to take place late Summer / early Autumn 2022 - watch this space for more news and photos!

Previous chosen charities

Whilst we usually choose one charity to focus on each year, we think it is important to continue to recognise and support the work that any our past chosen charities do.

In previous years, our chosen charities have included:

Change of Scene

Change of Scene, is a local charity aimed at giving disadvantaged children a change of scene to help nurture their self-esteem and gain strength from the natural environment.

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

The Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice is a local charity, with the hospice itself located just up the road from our office at BakerLaw. It is the only Hospice Care service for adult patients, and their families, living with cancer or another terminal illnesses (such as heart, lung or neurological diseases) across the whole of West Surrey and part of North East Hampshire. The Private Client team at BakerLaw is happy to be a regular participant in the hospice's Make a Will month.
