Crystal Chibawe

I am a Solicitor in the Family department at BakerLaw.

I take a constructive, client-focused approach to family matters and take pride in being able to support clients with sensitivity, clarity, and professionalism.

As a member of Resolution, I am dedicated to promoting a non-confrontational and amicable approach to resolving disputes wherever possible, always keeping the best interest of my clients and their families at the forefront.

Qualifications

I graduated from the University of the West of England in Bristol with a LLB degree in Law and completed my Masters in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2019.

Experience

Following a successful training contract at a law firm in London, I qualified in 2024 before moving to BakerLaw in February 2026.

Since qualification, I have gained experience across a range of high net worth family law matters particularly relating to the breakdown of relationships and divorce proceedings, contact arrangements and complex multi-jurisdictional applications relating to the removal and retention of children from the jurisdiction.

I deal with all areas of family law, including but not limited to, advising clients in respect of divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, private child arrangements, and separation agreements.

Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and spending time with my family and friends.  I also have a keen interest in videography, enjoying the creative process of capturing and editing footage for a visual storytelling experience.
