Becoming a Legal Executive is a flexible and often more accessible alternative to the more traditional approach to becoming a Solicitor. Both routes lead to a rewarding career as a qualified lawyer.
At the ceremony on 6 September 2018, held at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, Amanda Glover, Managing Partner at Farnham based law firm, BakerLaw LLP was one of two finalists for the Visionary Leadership Award 2018 sponsored by April King, Legal Services Group. She went on to win the award.
Amanda’s commercialism stems from a background that covers business and finance as well as law. It is that very business acumen that has helped Amanda lead and shape BakerLaw LLP into a progressive and growing law firm. Amanda has a strategic approach to firm expansion. Part of her strategic vision is to ensure service excellence throughout. In a drive to assure their legal standing, Amanda took the firm to gain Lexcel Accreditation without a single non-conformity.
Over the last 12 months, the numbers of staff at BakerLaw have nearly doubled. Part of the business’ ethos is how their drive to increase turnover is about securing the future not lining pockets.
It is a great achievement for Amanda to win such a prestigious award not just for her and BakerLaw but for the local community.
