BakerLaw LLP awarded Conveyancing Quality Scheme Accreditation

  • Posted

Last month BakerLaw LLP were accredited by the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).

Buying and selling a home is likely to be the largest transaction that most people will undertake. It is commonly dubbed one of life’s most stressful events. Our CQS accreditation means that we have the necessary skills and expertise to provide the residential conveyancing advice and information required to complete your transaction. This means that you (as our client) can expect the following as set out in the CQS client charter:

when you contact us to discuss your sale or purchase we will explain clearly the steps in the process and what you can expect from your solicitor;

we will tell you what the costs will be;

we will keep you informed of progress in your sale or purchase;

we will work in line with the quality standards set by the Law Society's CQS.

Whether you are buying or selling your home, you can be sure that our solicitors will:

treat you fairly;

be polite and professional;

respond promptly to your enquiries;

tell you about any problems as soon as we are aware of them;

ask for your feedback on our service.

Lalini De Silva, Head of our Residential Conveyancing Department’s expertise and in-depth understanding of conveyancing and a broad range of property matters has enabled BakerLaw LLP to achieve the CQS accreditation.

This level of service has been recognised in the feedback received from clients.

 "Lalini was brilliant and made the sale and purchase of our properties so much easier compared to other solicitors I dealt with in our chain.  Lalini was different class.  Can't thank her or recommend her enough" -  Mr H  (September 2016)“

If you are looking to buy or sell a property or have other property requirements and wish to instruct our conveyancing department please do not hesitate to email Lalini De Silva or telephone her on 01252 730760.
