Serious Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence Solicitors: What are they not telling you?

  • Posted

The importance of instructing the right solicitor to handle your clinical negligence or serious personal injury claim cannot be underestimated.

The public's knowledge of the possibility of compensation following a serious accident or medical negligence has grown in recent years, yet many solicitors in the field are often afraid to emphasise that under current English law it is very much up to the victims to prove their case.

Compensation is by no means automatic and in many cases a specialist approach has to be taken to prove negligence and to ensure a claim is made for the maximum amount possible. For this reason, instructing "any solicitor" will not do. Pursuing such cases, sometimes through litigation, is often a battle and you need a professional 'fighter' in your corner. In a central Farnham office are two such seasoned specialists. BakerLaw's Rob Berry (pictured right) and Martyn Farr (pictured far right) head up the Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury departments respectively. Between them they share in excess of 80 years of experience in handing and winning complex, high value claims requiring specialist skill and tenacity.

Rob has particular interest and expertise in handling Orthopaedic Claims, Misdiagnosis, Substandard Surgery, Delay in Diagnosis, GP Negligence Claims, Pharmacy Error Claims, Product Liability and Spinal Injury Claims, whilst Martyn specialises in complex, high value personal injury cases including Road Traffic Accidents, accidents at work, golfing and other sporting accidents, accidents abroad and disease cases.

If you have suffered serious or multiple injuries or been the victim of medical negligence Rob, Martyn and their teams will be pleased to advise you. Contact BakerLaw now on 01252 733 770 or email enquiries@baker-law.co.uk.
