Trustee and Executor Disputes

Trustee and Executor Disputes

Trustees and executors are appointed and granted exclusive authority to deal with the assets and liabilities of an estate.  They are entrusted to manage these affairs properly, and to the best of their reasonable ability.  This means their management of a trust or an estate is a crucial stage in making sure beneficiaries receive their full entitlement to inheritance.

If trustees or executors fail in this regard, whether deliberately or by carelessness, they can be held to account.  If such failures are proven, they can be removed from their roles, and even required to compensate beneficiaries for any losses caused by their mismanagement.

BakerLaw has specialist lawyers to defend or bring claims against trustees and executors.  In either case, we aim to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients and we also aim to resolve disputes without the expense and strain of court proceedings.  If proceedings are necessary, our clients receive strong representation in court.

BakerLaw also offers a range of options to fund legal costs, which may include ‘No Win, No Fee’ agreements.

Above all, your lawyer will work closely with you, one-on-one, to the resolution of your case, to ensure that you receive a personalised service.

For more information we invite you to call Mark Ridley on 01252 733 770 to discuss your case in confidence.
